Just about settled on a Dynamax Class C Coach

I am flying to Florida tomorrow to look at this small coach and feel it just might fit the bill. I will never find anything I liked as much as I did the Firan Telstar. The last model year for the Telstar was 1995 so it would be impossible now to find a nicely kept one like we owned. My Telstar was 27 ft in length and this one is 29 ft overall. The wheelbase is about 20 inches longer than the Telstar and of course, is built on the newer E450 Ford chassis. I will just have to drive it to see if I feel it is something I can enjoy driving. This coach has a slide in the living area which provides nice space when you're parked in an area where the slide can be extended. I will have to see how the coach handles as I'm sure the slide adds a lot of extra weight. Almost all of the coaches now come with slides so I hope they have been engineered to fit properly into the over all weight distribution on this small Ford chassis. I don't want to purchase something that is beyond my capacity to safely handle. Excited to go see it. Dynamax does make a smaller unit, about 26 ft in length, with a shorter wheelbase. I might have to go to the smaller coach if this one proves too much for me. This coach has a walk around bed in the back, (very narrow walk a round :-) which makes it easier to make the bed and change the linens. I like to have a bed made out so I can stop and take a nap if I feel like it.
